Sahara Reporters report that EFFC received a petition against Fani-Kayode.
Mr. Fani-Kayode recently wrote
an open letter to President Buhari, blaming him for making ‘contradictory’ and ‘patently dishonest’ assertions.
He often criticises the government of the All Progressives Congress.
Buhari was elected as a president on the promise to eradicate corruption in Nigeria and has already done many steps in this war.
The spokesperson of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh was arraigned today by the anti-graft commission regarding some fund said to have been traced to his firm.
Fani-Kayode was arraigned by the EFCC for supposedly laundering about N100 million while he was minister of culture and tourism and subsequently, aviation minister.
But he was cleared of all charges on July, 2015.
