A NEW mum was stabbed in the chest after having a go at noisy yobs to stop them waking her eight-week-old baby.
Donna Cross, 33, was knifed on her doorstep with the blade damaging her breastbone and narrowly missing her heart.
The mum, who gave birth two
months ago, underwent emergency surgery after losing 20 pints of blood.

Boyfriend Jon Stone, 32, said: “I thought she was going to die. It should be treated as attempted murder. All I could think of was our baby daughter being left without her mum.”
He said the thug who stabbed her was a girl — aged around 18 and wearing a tracksuit.
She and the others fled in Chatham, Kent. Residents there have been plagued by hooligans making a racket outside homes.
